To facilitate the swept path analysis process, Autopath already includes a list of predefined vehicle design libraries :
- Standard country-specific Vehicle Libraries like ASHTOO for the United States, Canada, and the Middle East, libraries for Australia, New Zealand, UK, Germany, Poland, Sweden, etc. All national standard design vehicles come complete with built-in dimensions and specifications.
- Manufacturer-based Vehicle Libraries are vehicle models based on manufacturer specifications, including passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, and emergency vehicles. Additional realistic vehicle libraries from around the world are available like Liebherr, Kato and Terex cranes and SUVs (Audi q8, BMW X7, Volvo XC90, etc.)
- Special transport vehicles for wind blade transport, heavy load, and long cargo vehicles
- And also libraries of specialized vehicles, like aircraft or agriculture vehicles.

With custom vehicle design options, users can extend these vehicle libraries, or create completely new specific libraries of vehicles that are otherwise not included in the software. Autopath allows users to define a comprehensive set of vehicle parameters, enabling them to design, from simple to highly complex specialized vehicles with multiple axels like Forklifts, Cranes, and so on.
By clicking on the vehicle library you can search through all encluded libraries and check parameters that are defined for each vehicle. In the upper line of the dialog box, you can choose a vehicle library and the type of vehicle. In the right part of the dialog box, you can see the values of the defined vehicle`s data.
If the vehicle you want to use for the analysis is not jet included in the library you can always create it by yourself or ask us, at CGS Labs, to create it for you. Autopath allows you to add a new vehicle to any of the vehicle libraries. Vehicles can be also edited, imported, or exported. To define your default vehicle, you can simply select a vehicle, right-click on and select »Set as default«.
