Points report

Plateia, Ferrovia and Aquaterra offers several functionalities to export points into different file formats. Points Report is one of the latest options that enables quick export of points from drawing to Excel file and creating a table of points in the current drawing. In addition to x, y and z coordinates, you can also export other data such as labels, profiles, stations, symbols, cross-sections, etc.

Report points to xls file

1. Click on the Points report icon.

2. Select CGS points in the drawing and press Enter.

3. The Points Report Table dialog box opens.

4. Click on this button to export the points report to the xls file. Specify the location of the file and confirm by pressing the Save button.

5. Then a new Excel file with the data of the selected points opens.

Report points to drawing

1. Click on the Points report icon.

2. Select CGS points in the drawing and press Enter.

3. The Points Report Table dialog box opens.

4. Click on the icon and then specify the table insertion position.

Creating a new table format

1. Click on the Points report icon.

2. Select CGS points in the drawing and press Enter.

3. Click on the Plus button. This opens a new dialog box.

4. Click in the Set data cell. The Set column data dialog box opens. Select column data from the drop-down menu. If you want, you can also define a custom data name.

6. Click on the Set data again and define another column data. You can define as many columns as you want. To edit the column simply click on the cell. It opens a dialog box, where you can change the column data and custom data name. You can also delete a column. For this, you should first click on the column you want to delete. This opens a dialog box where you press OK and then click on the Delete column option.

7. When finished confirm by pressing OK.

Then you can export to an xls file or drawing.
